Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lyman Bolton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Woulfgang Schreder!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bolton tries to clinch up but Schreder circles away and keeps his distance.
Bolton closes the distance and clinches up with Schreder, looking for a takedown. Bolton pushes Schreder against the cage but Schreder circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bolton tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Schreder counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Schreder must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bolton wants to stand and escape but Schreder is having none of it.
Bolton trying to keep a closed guard but Schreder is proving a slippery customer.
Schreder postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bolton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bolton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Schreder felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Bolton looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Schreder trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Bolton manages to pass to mount!
Schreder tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bolton sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Schreder is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bolton is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Schreder circles away from the clinch attempt.
Schreder changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bolton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schreder defends it nicely.
Schreder drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bolton defends it well.
Bolton tries to clinch there but Schreder circles away.
Bolton wants to clinch.

Bolton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schreder swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Schreder avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bolton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Schreder manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And Schreder tries to counter it with a takedown but Bolton pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bolton wants to clinch up but Schreder keeps it at a distance.
Bolton is looking to clinch but Schreder is avoiding it.
Bolton shoots in looking for a takedown but Schreder manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bolton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyman Bolton. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bolton is looking to clinch but Schreder is avoiding it.
Schreder throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bolton was covering up waiting for the punch and Schreder finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bolton is on top in guard.
Bolton has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Schreder is proving hard to escape from.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Woulfgang Schreder dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bolton has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bolton fails to pull guard.
Schreder is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bolton can't fight it off and eventually Schreder manages to take the fight to the floor. Bolton looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bolton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Schreder manages to get himself to full guard.

Schreder is looking to stand up but Bolton isn't so interested in that idea.
Schreder is trying to control the position but Bolton postures up.
Bolton throws a big right hand that misses.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schreder can do anything to dispel that myth.
Schreder working a defensive guard but Bolton manages to pass into side control anyway.
Bolton has hold of Schreder's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Schreder seems comfortable defending it but Bolton has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Schreder is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Schreder is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bolton couldn't care less - he's delighted!
