Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Prince Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bordoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bordoy has chosen beats on a string as his entrance music. David Bordoy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malik looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Malik not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malik's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Bordoy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bordoy pushes Malik off and gets back to his feet.
Bordoy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Malik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bordoy's guard. Malik is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bordoy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Malik will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Malik controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bordoy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Malik puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bordoy trying to hold on to Malik's head to control him but Malik postures up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bordoy misses with a body shot.
Bordoy tries for a takedown but Malik circles away easily and Malik counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Malik. Bordoy looks gassed! Bordoy looking for a sweep. Not yet Bordoy, not yet. Malik is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bordoy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Malik showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bordoy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Malik slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prince Malik dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bordoy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Malik counters with a takedown into side control. Bordoy is trying to get back to half guard. Malik is staying tight to Bordoy's torso, preventing him from escaping. Malik gets to mount! Bordoy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Malik controlling the position easily from mount. Bordoy is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bordoy is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bordoy is trying to reverse the position but instead Malik has taken his back - oops! Bordoy is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Malik has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bordoy has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Malik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Malik controls the action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Prince Malik just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Malik misses with a series of wild punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malik has Bordoy up against the cage in a clinch.
Bordoy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bordoy trying to land knees to the body.
Bordoy goes for a takedown in the clinch but Malik prevents it.

Bordoy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Malik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bordoy's guard. Bordoy wants to stand up but Malik is controlling him. Malik stays in close to Bordoy's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bordoy wants to control the position but Malik says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Malik stalling. Bordoy trying to control here.
Bordoy wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prince Malik dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Bordoy wants to sweep here but Malik controlling him for the moment. Malik seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Malik won't allow Bordoy to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malik stopping the sweep attempt from Bordoy. Bordoy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Malik keeping hold of Bordoy's head, controlling as best he can. It looks like Bordoy is going to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bordoy is looking to control the position but Malik frees his trapped leg and locks up an armbar from the bottom! It looks tight! Bordoy grimaces and holds on for a second but is forced to tap or have his arm broken! Slick Jiu Jitsu from Malik there - Bordoy really paying for some sloppy defensive work!
