Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dane Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simmy Javile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Javile throws a lazy body kick
and Cohen counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Javile is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Javile tried to score with a low kick but Cohen checks it.
Cohen swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Javile gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Cohen trying to control the position but instead, Javile has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cohen into the cage.
Javile turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Cohen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cohen tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Javile presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Javile tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Cohen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cohen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Javile is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Cohen is trying to escape back to his feet but Javile uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Javile really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Cohen.

Cohen manages to reverse the position and now he's in Javile's guard. Nice work there by Cohen.
Javile pulls Cohen in close to his closed guard and prevents Cohen from doing any damage or advancing position.

Javile bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cohen's guard.
Javile stays in close to Cohen's body and controls the position.
Cohen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Javile is aware though and is defending well.
Cohen has momentary wrist control but Javile slips an elbow through the middle.
Javile is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Cohen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Javile pulls his leg out and moves away.
Simmy Javile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Javile stuffs the takedown attempt from Cohen. Cohen gets slowly back to his feet.
Javile has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cohen tries to pull guard but Javile holds him up against the cage and eventually Cohen drops back down to his feet.

Javile has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Javile looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Cohen closes the distance but Javile moves to the side
and Javile counters with a big takedown. That's hurt Cohen! Javile smells blood and goes in for the kill. Serveral hard shots later and the ref calls an end to the fight by TKO!
