Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chase Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarik Belson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chase Dunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarik Belson! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunn ducks under a wild hook from Belson. Belson throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Dunn counter with a right hand. Belson ducks under a wild hook from Dunn. Dunn throws a jab when Belson was well out of range. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Belson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Dunn jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dunn throws an overhand right that lands on Belson's shoulder, as Belson tries to avoid the shot. Belson misses with an uppercut
and Dunn counters with a nice uppercut. Belson misses the jab. Dunn is looking to counter the offense by Belson and move into the clinch. Dunn stuffs the takedown attempt from Belson. Belson gets slowly back to his feet. An attempted straight right counter from Dunn misses the target. Belson lands a head shot. Dunn lands with an overhand left. Dunn misses with a hook. Dunn misses with a looping right. Belson lands with a straight right. Dunn didn't see that one coming. This has been an exciting period of action! Belson feints and as Dunn raises his hands in defense, Belson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Belson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Belson wants to control from the top but Dunn keeps moving. Dunn trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Belson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dunn is keeping the position for now. Belson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dunn dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dunn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Belson trying to control the position.
Belson is looking for a triangle but Dunn pushes his legs off easily.
Dunn wants to stand but Belson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dunn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunn gets to his feet - Belson follows without any prompting. Dunn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Belson. Dunn misses with a hook. Dunn is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Belson just misses with a punch to the body.
Belson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Belson is looking to take a break and control but Dunn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dunn tries to get to full guard but Belson has control of the leg. Belson is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Dunn as he works his way to full guard.
Belson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dunn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dunn's guard. Dunn is trying to stand up here but Belson is controlling him well. Belson is trying to work for a kimura but Dunn is defending well.

Belson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jarik Belson will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Belson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A nice side step and Belson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Belson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dunn. Belson misses the body punch and Dunn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dunn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Belson manages to avoid it. Belson takes a swing at Dunn's ribcage but misses. Belson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dunn tries to get to full guard but Belson has control of the leg. Belson is trying to control. Dunn wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belson wants to pass the guard but Dunn is defending well. Dunn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belson's back! Belson is trying to break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn is trying to stick to Belson's back but Belson is turning into Dunn. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dunn's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Belson. Dunn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Belson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dunn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dunn has escaped and now he's on top! Dunn wants to stand but Belson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dunn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belson is trying to keep Dunn in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Belson is trying to control Dunn's posture but Dunn avoids it. Dunn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Dunn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Belson. Belson throws a combination. Dunn tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Dunn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Belson moves forwards but Dunn connects with a nice, crisp jab. Belson shoots in and drives through. Dunn sprawls well. Chase Dunn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dunn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Belson throws out the jab. Dunn avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Belson staying out of range there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Belson throws a jab but it's blocked by Dunn. Dunn ducks under a wild hook from Belson. A looping hook to the body misses from Dunn. Belson does a little dance to reset his feet. Belson dives in and grabs Dunn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dunn pushes down on Belson's head and hops out. It looked like Dunn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jarik Belson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Belson misses the jab. Belson misses the jab. Good standup being displayed there by Belson as he connects with a hook. Dunn clobbers Belson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Belson fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Chase Dunn will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
A jab from Belson misses. Belson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Belson is rocked! Belson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dunn counters with a huge left! Belson is in big trouble! He's backing up but Dunn isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Belson from any more damage. A dominating finish by Dunn!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chase Dunn! An out of breath Chase Dunn thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
