Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Belliveau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belliveau comes to the cage accompanied by We will rock you. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Belliveau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Beast! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belliveau misses with a low kick.
And Beast tries to counter it with a takedown but Belliveau pushes his down on his head and steps out. Belliveau throws a low kick but Beast moves out of range easily. Belliveau throws a leg kick but Beast moved away. Belliveau stuffs the takedown. Beast misses with a takedown attempt - Belliveau sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Belliveau has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Listerman in the buildup to the fight. Beast misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Belliveau.
Beast looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Beast throws a poor cross that misses
and Belliveau cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Beast has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Belliveau looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Belliveau walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Beast checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Belliveau backing away here, and Beast unleashes a leg kick that just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belliveau slips a jab and a cross from Beast.
Belliveau throws a leg kick but Beast checks it. Beast now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Beast throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beast throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Belliveau sees it coming and avoids it easily. Belliveau fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beast has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice jab there from Belliveau. Belliveau avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Beast shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Belliveau napping and manages to drive through into side control! Beast in side control lands a decent elbow. Belliveau knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Beast on the ground. Beast wants to control but Belliveau is keeping him busy. Beast looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sloppy strikes there by Beast. An elbow from Beast crashes against the mat.

Belliveau can't do much from the bottom here. This has been an exciting period of action! Beast working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Beast is chipping away with strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belliveau is trying to improve his position. Beast lands an elbow. Beast landing a few strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beast is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Belliveau has escaped the position, nice work there. Beast in side control, throwing shots but Belliveau defends. Beast misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Beast trying to control the action but Belliveau is working from the bottom. Belliveau is trying to improve his position. Belliveau is working hard here to advance position. Belliveau tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Beast presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Belliveau is squirming around, avoiding Beast's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Belliveau is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Beast missing with a left hand there. Belliveau was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Good work by Belliveau as he checks the leg kick. Belliveau slips under a jab from Beast. Beast misses with a looping right. Beast misses with a hook. Belliveau ducked under it nicely. and Beast counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Belliveau avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Beast lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Belliveau has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Belliveau and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Belliveau gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Beast to score an easy takedown into full guard. Beast landing some decent shots from guard. Belliveau controls Beast momentarily but Beast frees himself. Belliveau is really struggling to control Beast but he's trying to hold on to the position. Belliveau keeping full guard, as Beast tries to pass. Beast distracts Belliveau with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The Beast has got the better of the ground game so far. Belliveau controls Beast momentarily but Beast frees himself. Belliveau seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belliveau is trying to control the position but Beast postures up. Beast postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Beast trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Beast has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Beast scoring with some ground and pound. Belliveau is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Beast works over Belliveau with some ground and pound from guard. Beast working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Belliveau's head. Beast throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Belliveau works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Belliveau controls Beast momentarily but Beast frees himself. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Beast's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Belliveau trying to keep a closed guard but Beast is proving a slippery customer.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Beast closes the distance and clinches up with Belliveau, looking for a takedown. Beast pushes Belliveau against the cage but Belliveau circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Good leg kick by Belliveau there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Belliveau throws a half hearted mid kick. Beast paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Beast moves out of range as Belliveau throws a body kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Beast throws a jab but it's blocked by Belliveau. Belliveau misses with a low kick. Steve Belliveau is winning the standup battle so far. Belliveau misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Beast changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Beast throws out a loose jab but Belliveau uses good head movement to avoid it. Beast has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Belliveau looks to land a body kick but Beast moved away. Belliveau throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A nice side step and Beast releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Beast misses with an uppercut. Beast shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Belliveau's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Belliveau working a defensive guard here.

The Beast showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Beast closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Belliveau to the mat! Belliveau manages to get full guard. Belliveau not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Belliveau is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Beast is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Belliveau keeping moving, preventing Beast from controlling successfully. Belliveau keeping full guard, as Beast tries to pass. Beast wants to control from the top but Belliveau keeps moving. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Beast has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Belliveau. A big right from Beast misses. Belliveau gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Beast. Belliveau takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Beast connects with a right hand. Belliveau shakes it off. Nice shot lands for Beast. Belliveau misses the shot to the body. Belliveau throws a body kick that misses. Beast changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Beast lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Beast looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Belliveau is fending him off so far but Beast persists. Nope, Belliveau circles away and we're back to standing. Belliveau buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Beast fails with a takedown attempt. It looked like Belliveau wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Steve Belliveau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Beast. Beast swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Beast blocks a leg kick. Belliveau misses with a body kick. Beast misses with a wild combination.
Belliveau throws a leg kick which misses Beast's front leg but catches the back leg as Beast tries to avoid it. Beast connects with a body shot. A big left from Beast misses. Belliveau throws a front kick that sends Beast stumbling back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belliveau waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Beast. Beast connects with a right hand. Belliveau shakes it off. Beast fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Belliveau misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Belliveau as Beast shoots in. Belliveau swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Some bone on bone action there as Beast checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A little jabbing left from Beast on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Belliveau pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Belliveau throws a leg kick that misses. Beast fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Belliveau looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Belliveau throws the kick towards the body but Beast avoids it. Beast misses with a looping right. Belliveau digs a good hook to Beast's body.
Steve Belliveau has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Belliveau with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to The Beast. I've got Beast winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
