Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael BR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabrielzinho Louco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BR throws a front kick that sends Louco stumbling back into the cage.
BR shoots for a takedown but Louco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
BR throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Louco's waist but Louco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing BR off to one side.
Louco drives through with a takedown into guard.
BR controls Louco momentarily but Louco frees himself.

Louco must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close round but I would say that Rafael BR will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

BR throwing strikes here but Louco is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

BR is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Louco is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
BR moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Louco has worked his arm free - good work by Louco!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BR tries to move into full mount but can't pass Louco's legs.

BR shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Louco as he jumps to the side.

BR is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Louco content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Gabrielzinho Louco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Louco has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics BR uses from the top position.

Gabrielzinho Louco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Louco has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
