Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bone Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonis Skayias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bone Crash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonis Skayias! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crash throws a sloppy head kick and Skayias moves out of range easily. Nice body punch from Skayias. Skayias tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Crash is able to avoid easily. Skayias throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crash sees it coming and avoids it easily. Skayias lands a jab to Crash's midsection. That kick from Crash tenderised Skayias's leg. Skayias is trying to keep his angry face on. A big left from Skayias misses. Skayias lands with a nice body punch. Skayias throws a shot from downtown. Crash moves away and avoids it. Crash misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crash feints and then cracks Skayias's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Skayias down. Crash throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Skayias digs a good hook to Crash's body.
Crash is breathing heavily. A head kick misses from Skayias. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crash takes a body punch but keeps moving. Crash finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Skayias closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Crash's guard. Skayias in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Skayias throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Crash works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Skayias trying to control the position from guard on top but Crash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crash keeping full guard, as Skayias tries to pass. Skayias working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Skayias lands a couple of digs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skayias trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Skayias throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Skayias trying to control the position from guard on top but Crash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crash keeping full guard, as Skayias tries to pass. Skayias has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Skayias blocks the body kick.
Skayias avoids the head kick by Crash.
Skayias looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Crash! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The ground and pound from Skayias seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skayias tries to score with some ground and pound. Crash controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Skayias controlling the position. Skayias creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Crash sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Crash regains half guard, as Skayias was trying to land strikes. Skayias sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've been hearing good reports from Crash's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Crash trying to control but Skayias postures up.
Skayias not doing much here.
Crash is not content to let Skayias control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Skayias controlling the action here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonis Skayias dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Skayias slips a jab and a cross from Crash.
Skayias is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Crash rather than just go for the knockout. Crash misses with a head kick.
Crash on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Skayias. Skayias obviously looking to wear him down.
Skayias pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Skayias swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Skayias works the jab nicely. Crash takes a shot right to the bread basket. Skayias lands an overhand right. Crash throws a push kick but Skayias slaps the foot to one side. Skayias misses with a looping left. Skayias misses with a head kick.
Crash was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Skayias throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crash sees it coming and avoids it easily. Crash misses with a leg kick. Crash looks for the body kick but Skayias saw that one coming. Skayias flicks out a counter leg kick but Crash steps away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crash fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Skayias checks it well. Skayias misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crash throws out a leg kick but Skayias moves out of range and Crash only half commits. A slapping leg kick lands for Skayias.
Oooooh!!! Skayias has knocked Crash down with a huge combo! Skayias steps away and waves a wobbly Crash back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Crash is rocked! Skayias feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Crash crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Antonis Skayias! Antonis Skayias decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
