The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz thuds a left hand into Kaprao's body.
A punch lands to the side of Kaprao 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ruiz tries to clinch but Kaprao moves out of range.
Kaprao flicks out a counter leg kick but Ruiz steps away.
Ruiz closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kaprao misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ruiz counters with a right hand to the body.
A shot to the liver by Ruiz. Beautiful body shot.

Ruiz lands a big uppercut and Kaprao crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kaprao looks OK. Ruiz waves Kaprao back to his feet!

It looks like Yeon Kaprao has been cut.
Erik Ruiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ruiz cracks Kaprao on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kaprao falls backwards against the cage. Ruiz follows up with more strikes that drop Kaprao to his knees. Ruiz keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kaprao! This one is all over!
