Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terry Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pettis has chosen Tum Tum feat. Jim Jones – Showtime as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Pettis!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a jab when Pettis was well out of range.
Anderson leaves Pettis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We've been informed that Pettis has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pettis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. Pettis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Anderson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

That was a close round but I would say that Terry Anderson will probably get the nod.

In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

After the fight, Anthony Pettis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
