Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Sutherland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Milson! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sutherland avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sutherland fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Milson, pushing him back against the cage. Milson landing knees to the head.
It looks like Craig Sutherland has been cut. Milson breaks from the clinch.
Milson clinches up with Sutherland and pushes him back against the cage. Milson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sutherland tries to clinch up and Milson counters with a two punch combo. Some wild striking there from Sutherland.
Sutherland throws a series of punches but Milson moves out of range. Sutherland clinches with his opponent.
Sutherland wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Milson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sutherland blocks it with crossed arms. Sutherland is trying to break free. Milson looking to throw knees to the head but Sutherland is blocking nicely.
Sutherland wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Milson has him pressed against the cage. Sutherland has had enough of the clinch but Milson keeps him there for the moment. Milson prevents Sutherland from breaking the clinch. Sutherland can't break the clinch.
Sutherland wants to break free but Milson has control.
Milson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sutherland uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Milson.
A solid leg kick lands there for Milson.
Sutherland is breathing heavily. Sutherland connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Milson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Milson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sutherland's defenses. Milson slowing the pace effectively. Sutherland wants to get back to striking at distance but Milson won't allow it.
Sutherland is trying to break free. Milson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Milson throws a nice inside leg kick. Milson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Look low, kick high! Milson uses the oldest trick in the book to send Sutherland tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Milson is absolutely delighted - when Sutherland wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
