Folignus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Laces Out. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

With a record of 13 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, The Steel Penn Alliance!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel Penn Alliance throws the kick towards the body but Folignus avoids it.
Steel Penn Alliance lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Folignus is looking to slow Steel Penn Alliance down with leg kicks.
Steel Penn Alliance misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Folignus moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Steel Penn Alliance tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Steel Penn Alliance throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Folignus connects with an inside leg kick.

Folignus closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Folignus is looking to advance position but Steel Penn Alliance won't allow it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steel Penn Alliance is looking to control Folignus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Steel Penn Alliance avoid being mounted?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Folignus stalling away here and it's allowed Steel Penn Alliance to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steel Penn Alliance preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Folignus slips nicely into half guard.
Folignus wants to free his trapped foot but Steel Penn Alliance is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Folignus seems to be working for a kimura but Steel Penn Alliance defends the submission attempt.

Folignus is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Steel Penn Alliance sees it coming and defends easily.

Folignus is looking to pass Steel Penn Alliance's guard but actually Steel Penn Alliance recovers to full guard.
Folignus trying to control but Steel Penn Alliance is working from the bottom.

Folignus is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Steel Penn Alliance has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Folignus is looking to defend but Steel Penn Alliance has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Folignus! Steel Penn Alliance pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Folignus taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). The Steel Penn Alliance!
