Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nils Holgersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane comes to the cage accompanied by Way of The Ninja. Holgersson has chosen Theme as his entrance music. Ichabod Crane could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nils Holgersson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichabod Crane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Holgersson!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane tries to bum rush Holgersson with a series of wild strikes but Holgersson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ichabod Crane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holgersson drives through and clinches with Crane against the cage.
Holgersson is trying to pull guard but Crane turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Crane working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Crane manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheers as Crane lands an impressive looking overhand right. Holgersson doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Nils Holgersson has been cut.
Holgersson closes the distance but Crane moves to the side
and Crane counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Crane fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Holgersson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Crane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holgersson.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Holgersson is defended easily by Crane.
Holgersson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crane defends it nicely.
Ichabod Crane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nils Holgersson.
Crane works Holgersson's body with a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crane throws a right hand that Holgersson ducks under and follows up with a left that Holgersson also avoids with ease.
Holgersson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Crane Rushes Holgersson and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Holgersson is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Crane Piles on the pressure and Holgersson crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ichabod Crane!
Ichabod Crane thanked the fans post fight for their support.
In defeat, Nils Holgersson stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fyfan!'.
