Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook has chosen I Want You to Want Me by Cheap Trick as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
43 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dennis Wise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 21 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Dane Cook!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cook.
Wise throws a jab but it's blocked by Cook.
Wise slips a jab from Cook.
Good standup being displayed there by Cook as he connects with a hook.
Wise defending well as Cook loads up on a big left hand.
Wise scores with a nice strike.
Wise throws out a loose jab but Cook uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wise moves away from the strike by Cook.
Cook takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Cook comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cook throws an off balance right hand
and Wise counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Cook throws out a loose jab but Wise uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cook displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wise throws out the jab.
Cook works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wise misses with a lunging right hand
and Cook counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wise with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cook to score with a decent uppercut.
Wise is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cook.

Wise throws a series of punches but Cook moves out of range.
Cook misses with a body shot.
Wise throws a right and a left that both miss.
It seemed like Cook was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cook throws a series of punches but Wise avoids them all with ease.
Cook tries to land a leg kick but Wise saw it coming and moves away.
Wise cracks Cook with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Cook connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cook throws a body punch but Wise moves out of range.
Cook fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wise on the side of the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Cook.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Cook. Wise shrugs it off though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cook scores with a one two! Wise had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Wise lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Wise swinging wildly here.

Cook tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Cook misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wise.
Some bone on bone action there as Cook checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Wise throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wise missing with a left hand there. Cook was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cook shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Cook's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wise under the eye.
Cook tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wise paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wise swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Wise is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cook.
Cook throws a right and a left that both miss.
A big right from Wise misses.
Cook misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Wise to counter with a crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wise takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cook dips to his left and cracks Wise with an uppercut!
Cook slips under a jab.

Wise throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cook! But no joy.
Wise misses with a head kick.
Wise throws a leg kick but Cook moved away.
Cook closes the distance and clinches.
Cook stalling in the clinch.
Wise's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Wise lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cook backwards.
Cook escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cook throws a big shot that misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wise takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wise walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cook checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Cook connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wise's hands.
Cook swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dane Cook dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cook misses with a double jab.
It looked like Wise was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Cook.
Cook throws an overhand right that lands on Wise's shoulder, as Wise tries to avoid the shot.
A little feinted left hand from Wise on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A left lands for Wise.
Wise lands a head shot.
Cook is rocked!
Wise misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wise missing with a left hand there. Cook was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cook motions for Wise to come forward. Cook throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cook misses with a jab to the body
and Wise connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cook is still on wobbly legs! Can Wise finish him?
Cook takes one to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cook. Wise does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cook lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wise lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Cook falls backwards - clearly groggy! Wise dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
