Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beau Forbes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torin Fann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torin Fann is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forbes shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Forbes tries to stand but can't do so whilst Fann controls his leg.
Forbes seems to be working for a kimura but Fann defends the submission attempt.
Forbes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Forbes stops Fann from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Forbes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fann is just riding it out for now. Forbes eventually gives up the hold.

Fann throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Forbes was covering up waiting for the punch and Fann finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fann is fighting to break Forbes's control of his arms but Forbes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Forbes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Forbes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fann's guard.
Fann is working an open guard so Forbes takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Forbes counters with a shoot takedown. Fann fights it but they end up in guard.
Forbes stands up from Fann's guard - Forbes perhaps looking for a knockout.
Forbes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fann closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Forbes did well to prevent Fann getting side control.

Forbes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
