Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Hope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewanye Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has chosen Here We go again as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jordan Hope! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dewanye Wallace! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace fails to land the takedown. Hope closes the distance and clinches. Hope has had enough of the clinch but Wallace keeps him there for the moment. Wallace is working for takedown but Hope is calmly controlling the position for now. Wallace prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hope is trying to break free. Hope breaks the clinch.
Nice body kick from Hope. Hope bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wallace tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hope wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hope scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Wallace to see if he's OK. Hope is looking to take a break and control but Wallace is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wallace is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hope decides to stand back up. Hope scores with a nice strike. Wallace misses with a takedown and Hope counters with a stiff right hand. Jordan Hope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dewanye Wallace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hope gets the takedown into side control. Hope stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hope clinches with his opponent.
Hope tries for a takedown but Wallace manages to get underhooks.
Wallace is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Wallace looks gassed! Wallace wants a takedown but no success here.
Hope prevents a takedown attempt there.
Knees in the clinch landing for Hope.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hope. Hope creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wallace's defenses. Wallace drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hope pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hope shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hope is stalling in the full guard. Hope passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hope seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wallace does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Wallace is looking to improve his position.
Hope is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wallace defends it well. Hope slows the pace down in half guard. Hope is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hope looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace moves into full guard.
Wallace trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Wallace looking for a sweep. Not yet Wallace, not yet. Wallace throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Wallace keeping moving, preventing Hope from controlling successfully. Wallace throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Hope trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wallace tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hope scores with a nice right hand.
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hope paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hope instigates a clinch. Wallace is trying to drag Hope to the mat but Hope just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Hope pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hope moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Hope throws a head kick that misses. Hope changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wallace is looking for a sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wallace is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Hope dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hope shoots in and bounces Wallace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hope really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wallace tries to strike from the bottom.
Wallace keeping moving, preventing Hope from controlling successfully. Wallace striking off his back but it's not causing Hope any problems. Hope slips nicely into half guard. Wallace misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Wallace wants to get back to full guard but Hope has passed into side control. Hope can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wallace is looking to escape. Wallace sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace gets full guard. Hope wants to stand but Wallace has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hope won't allow Wallace to sweep him here. Wallace throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hope controls from within his opponent's guard. Wallace looking for a sweep. Not yet Wallace, not yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hope closes the distance and clinches. Wallace has Hope pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hope manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hope content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hope escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hope gets a takedown into half guard. Hope working the head and body with strikes. Wallace has a hand on Hope's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hope takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hope landing strikes from the mount. Wallace is desperately trying to improve his position but Hope has a good base and remains in mount. Hope controlling from the full mount. Hope tries to control but Wallace wriggling away. Wallace is trying desperately to improve position. Jordan Hope overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hope blocks Wallace's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Wallace flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Hope lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wallace hang on? Hope working for a submission but Wallace is keeping him at bay. Wallace is squirming around, avoiding Hope's attempts to control the action. Wallace tries to reverse the position but Hope maintains control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wallace sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Hope blocks the strikes from Wallace.
Hope knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wallace on the ground. Wallace tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Hope dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hope gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hope controlling the action here for a moment.
Hope unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wallace lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Hope manages to break the clinch.
Wallace with a poor takedown and Hope counters with a straight right hand. Hope lands a head kick. Wallace smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Wallace is looking to clinch. Hope is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Wallace has his takedown stuffed and Hope counters with a one-two to the body.
Wallace is rocked! Hope clinches up with Wallace and pushes him back against the cage. Wallace is still on wobbly legs! Can Hope finish him? Knees in the clinch landing for Hope.

Hope works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Wallace will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wallace can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hope controls the pace. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hope gets to his feet - Wallace follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Hope moves into the clinch successfully.
Wallace seems to have recovered his senses. Hope has had enough of the clinch but Wallace keeps him there for the moment. Wallace is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hope gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jordan Hope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dewanye Wallace. Wallace misses with a takedown and Hope counters with a left and a right that stings Wallace. Wallace fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hope closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wallace manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Hope wants to control but Wallace is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wallace trying to mount his opponent but Hope defends it. Wallace missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hope is looking to escape. Wallace lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Nice strikes from Wallace there. Wallace scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wallace throwing shots but Hope is blocking nicely. Wallace has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A head kick misses from Hope. Wallace doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hope counters with a head kick. Jordan Hope is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wallace has a takedown stuffed. Hope moves into the clinch successfully.

Wallace scores with a takedown into Hope's guard. Hope wants to stand and escape but Wallace is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wallace accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hope lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wallace! Wallace is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hope controlling his opponent. Wallace is looking to get to half guard. Dewanye Wallace has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jordan Hope is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hope blocks Wallace's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Jordan Hope showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hope has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
