Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rage Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Li! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rage Machine! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machine throws a right hand that Li ducks under and follows up with a left that Li also avoids with ease. Li changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Li throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Li with a jab. A slow jab from Machine misses its intended target. Machine throws a nice head kick!
Li throws a body shot but no joy. Li looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Li doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Machine misses with a jab, cross combination.
Machine lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Machine throws a nice inside leg kick. Li throws a half hearted mid kick. Machine tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Li blocks a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Machine stuns Li with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Machine scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Machine lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Machine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Li.
Li looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Machine! But no joy. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Li will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Li tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Machine does no damage. A decent looking cross lands there for Machine. Li gets off balance looking for a body kick and Machine counters with a nice uppercut. Machine connects with a body shot that sends Li's belly button to the back. Nice shot lands for Li. A jab from Li finds it's way through Machine's defenses. Machine slips a straight right by Li. Li slips a jab from Machine. Machine connects with a high kick. Machine throws out a leg kick but Li moves out of range and Machine only half commits. Li walks into a left hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A good leg kick by Machine. Li fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've been informed that Machine has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Li moves out of range of the strikes. Li lands a two punch combo.
Machine is rocked! A big left from Machine misses. Machine lands a nice shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Li.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Li takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Li misses with a two punch combination.
Machine flicks out a counter leg kick but Li steps away. Li looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Machine is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Li moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Li! After the fight, Jeff Li was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
