The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acevedo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Reid.
Reid instigates a clinch.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Reid has eaten all the pies!
Reid has Acevedo pressed against the cage, preventing Acevedo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Acevedo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Acevedo pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Acevedo slowing the pace effectively.
Reid manages to break the clinch.
An inside leg kick from Reid misses.
Acevedo swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Chris Reid showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Acevedo.
