Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abbe Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jozef Rakic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faria kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Toni Montano - 10 Godina live. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakic thuds his right hand into Faria's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Faria looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rakic throws a combination that misses
and Faria counters with a nice uppercut.
Faria on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Rakic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Faria avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Faria stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rakic.
Faria blocks a head kick by Rakic.
Rakic throws a head kick but Faria moves out of range.
Rakic tried to score with a low kick but Faria checks it.
Faria misses with a body shot.
Faria waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rakic.
No joy there for Rakic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
An attempted straight right counter from Faria misses the target.
Jab from Rakic.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rakic. Faria shrugs it off though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rakic throws an overhand right that lands on Faria's shoulder, as Faria tries to avoid the shot.
Rakic throws a lazy right hand but Faria sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Faria takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Faria throws a hook but Rakic avoids it easily.
Rakic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Faria bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A punch lands to the side of Faria 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Abbe Faria has been cut.
Oooooh!!! Faria has knocked Rakic down with a huge combo! Faria steps away and waves a wobbly Rakic back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Jozef Rakic has been cut.
Rakic lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rakic throws a leg kick which misses Faria's front leg but catches the back leg as Faria tries to avoid it.
Faria swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Faria ducks under a wild hook from Rakic.
Faria was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rakic throws a leg kick but Faria sees it coming and moves out of range.
Faria has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rakic finds it's way round the side to connect with Faria's head.
Faria walks into a jab.
Faria shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Faria misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Faria stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rakic.
The fight stays on the outside here - Faria looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Faria connects with a right hand. Rakic shakes it off.
Rakic looks to land a left hand but Faria moved out of range nicely.
It looked like Faria was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Rakic.
Rakic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Faria avoids the head kick by Rakic.
Rakic's jab looks to have found its range, popping Faria under the eye.
Rakic lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Faria throws a right and a left that Rakic avoids nicely.
Rakic stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Faria tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rakic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rakic is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Faria had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Faria takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Faria lands with a big left! Rakic is wobbled badly! Faria comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Rakic to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Abbe Faria!
A determined Abbe Faria didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
