The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akhmedov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Akhmedov misses with a looping right.
Fox wants to clinch.
Akhmedov drops Fox with a beautiful combination! Fox stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Akhmedov is looking for the KO!
It looks like Floyd Fox has been cut.
Akhmedov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fox gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Akhmedov counters with a crisp one two that drops Fox! Akhmedov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fox to his feet! Fox is in big trouble!
Fox is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Akhmedov lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Fox up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Akhmedov from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Fox's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Omari Akhmedov!
