The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Johnson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Johnson has gone for a leg lock! Smith slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard.
Smith is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Let's hope that Smith has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Smith comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Smith lands an elbow inside that Johnson shrugs off.
It looks like Jack Johnson has been cut.

Smith cracks Johnson with a nice body shot.
Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Smith has cracked Johnson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Smith lands another huge swinging hook and Johnson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Johnson, before Smith can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Smith!
James Smith gave a mention to Product Of Champions in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
