The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vigorously listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Vigorously shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parker as he jumps to the side.
Vigorously bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Parker's head.
Vigorously ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Vigorously throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Parker doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vigorously counters with a nice kick to the body.
Vigorously shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parker's guard.
Vigorously showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Parker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vigorously throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Parker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vigorously did well to prevent Parker getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Vigorously is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Parker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vigorously's head.

Parker takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Parker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vigorously defends it nicely.

Vigorously goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker swings for the body but Vigorously moves out of range.
Fapping Vigorously seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vigorously lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vigorously.
Vigorously scores with the left hand. Parker knows he should have avoided that one.
Parker is rocked!
Vigorously gets tackled into the cage by Parker. Parker maintains the clinch.

Parker tries to break free but Vigorously pushes him back against the cage.
Parker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vigorously smiles and moves away.
Vigorously fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vigorously swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A shot to the liver by Vigorously. Beautiful body shot.

Vigorously lands with a left to the head.
Parker is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Vigorously is defending well for now.

Vigorously digs a right hand into Parker's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Parker's gas tank.
Vigorously is pressed up against the cage. Parker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vigorously down to the mat. Vigorously avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

It looked like Parker was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vigorously.
Parker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Vigorously throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Parker on the side of the head.
Parker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vigorously circles away.
Vigorously fakes the leg kick and cracks Parker in the body.
Parker will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vigorously must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
