Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johan Axelsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brad Dillinger!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axelsson moves out of range of the body kick from Dillinger.
Dillinger blocks a jab.
Axelsson lunges at Dillinger with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dillinger's hand.

Dillinger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dillinger is trying to control the action in half guard but Axelsson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Axelsson tries to get to full guard but Dillinger has control of the leg.
Axelsson is looking to control Dillinger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Axelsson avoid being mounted?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Axelsson enables Dillinger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Axelsson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Dillinger might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Axelsson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dillinger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Axelsson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dillinger wants to control from the top but Axelsson keeps moving.

Axelsson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dillinger defends well.
Dillinger won't allow Axelsson to sweep him here.

Brad Dillinger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Axelsson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dillinger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dillinger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dillinger is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Axelsson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dillinger is looking to defend but Axelsson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dillinger! Axelsson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dillinger taps out and this one is all over!
