Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janno Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Ironstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Apocalypse Please. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ironstone wants to clinch.
Gibbs is looking to counter with head kicks.
Ironstone swats away the attempt to clinch by Gibbs.
Rodney Ironstone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ironstone tries to clinch but Gibbs is having none of it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ironstone crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gibbs - the referee stops the clock and Ironstone gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gibbs. Ironstone manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ironstone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gibbs circles away quickly and effectively.

Look low, kick high! Gibbs uses the oldest trick in the book to send Ironstone tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Gibbs is absolutely delighted - when Ironstone wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
