The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Leia slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Leia controls Hendricks momentarily but Hendricks frees himself.
Leia working for a triangle but Hendricks defends it easily.
Hendricks works over Leia with some ground and pound from guard.
Hendricks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hendricks has managed to get both his arms back between Leia's legs - danger averted.
Hendricks lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hendricks is sitting in close to Leia's body. Leia has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hendricks is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hendricks is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Leia.
