Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Burer Mutant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Yakuza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza has chosen The Legend of Zelda, Overworld as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutant looks to land a combination but Yakuza avoids it well.
Yakuza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mutant swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mutant lands a lovely overhand right.
Mutant misses with a series of wild punches.
Mutant avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yakuza wants to clinch up but Mutant keeps it at a distance.
Yakuza slips a jab and a cross from Mutant.
Yakuza tries to close the distance and clinch but Mutant swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yakuza takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Yakuza drops his hands momentarily. Mutant doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Yakuza staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Yakuza doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Burer Mutant!
The defeated Ichi Yakuza had this to say: 'This has not been honorable. Seppuku!'.
