Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emerson Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Axtensteiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emerson Bradley has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Emerson Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marco Axtensteiner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradley stuffs the takedown attempt from Axtensteiner. Axtensteiner gets slowly back to his feet.

Axtensteiner scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Axtensteiner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bradley keeps working.

Axtensteiner looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bradley is pushing Axtensteiner's head away, looking to escape. Axtensteiner manages to hold on to the position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Axtensteiner working the strikes but Bradley uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Axtensteiner slows the pace down in half guard.

Axtensteiner seems to be working for a kimura but Bradley defends the submission attempt.
Axtensteiner is keen to just control but Bradley is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Axtensteiner closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bradley did well to prevent Axtensteiner getting side control.
Axtensteiner wants to control but Bradley is keeping him busy.

Axtensteiner looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Axtensteiner wanted to stand there but Bradley had control of the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Axtensteiner is looking to advance position but Bradley has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Bradley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Axtensteiner clinches with his opponent.

Axtensteiner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Axtensteiner throws a sloppy head kick
and Bradley counters with a three punch combo that has Axtensteiner backing up. Axtensteiner nods at Bradley to acknowledge the strikes.
Axtensteiner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bradley feinted with a counter takedown.
Axtensteiner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bradley circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Axtensteiner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bradley swivels and escapes.

and Bradley counters with a left and a right that stings Axtensteiner.

enabling Bradley to counter with a crisp jab.
Emerson Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Axtensteiner.

Axtensteiner moves into the clinch.
Axtensteiner is breathing heavily.
Axtensteiner tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bradley smiles and moves away.

Axtensteiner closes the distance and clinches.
Axtensteiner drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bradley gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bradley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Emerson Bradley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Axtensteiner shoots in looking for a takedown. Bradley tries to sprawl out of it but Axtensteiner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bradley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Axtensteiner darts in and clinches Bradley up against the cage.

Bradley manages to break the clinch.
Bradley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Axtensteiner.

Axtensteiner is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Axtensteiner jumps guard but Bradley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Bradley has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Axtensteiner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Axtensteiner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bradley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bradley shoots for a takedown but Axtensteiner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Axtensteiner has taken the fight to the clinch.
Axtensteiner keeps control of Bradley as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Axtensteiner has hold of one of Bradley's legs. Bradley is fighting the takedown attempt but Axtensteiner gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Bradley throws a big counter combination but Axtensteiner scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Bradley is taking a breather. Axtensteiner says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Axtensteiner is staying active underneath Bradley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bradley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Axtensteiner looks like he's trying to stand up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
