Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stoyak Stoyachnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saan Shlamel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stoyak Stoyachnikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saan Shlamel! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stoyachnikov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Stoyachnikov throws a body shot but no joy. Shlamel feints a counter leg kick. Shlamel has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Stoyachnikov is landing a low percentage of strikes. Stoyachnikov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Stoyachnikov takes one on the button. Shlamel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shlamel tries a head kick but it misses.
Stoyachnikov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Saan Shlamel has been cut. Stoyachnikov cracks a nice hook into Shlamel's ribs. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Shlamel, right into the meat.
Stoyachnikov lands with a shot to the body. Stoyachnikov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stoyachnikov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Stoyachnikov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stoyachnikov looks to land a left hand but Shlamel moved out of range nicely. Shlamel tries to land a front kick but Stoyachnikov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Stoyachnikov was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. A good leg kick by Shlamel. We've been told by Stoyachnikov's head coaches at [LOD]Berlin Giants that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Shlamel takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Shlamel is rocked! Stoyachnikov ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Shlamel out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stoyak Stoyachnikov! A very excited looking Stoyak Stoyachnikov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
