Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with Eminem - Not Afraid blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Allen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Allen wants to land a leg kick but Johnson is out of range.
Allen throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Allen moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Johnson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Allen under the eye.
Allen tries to work over Johnson's front leg with a kick but Johnson checks it.
Allen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Johnson's sensitive parts.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson has Allen pressed up against the ropes in a tight Thai clinch. Allen is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Johnson - that's hurt Allen badly! Oh, another knee lands and Allen is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Allen doesn't seem to be complaining.
