Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Nuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Webbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Nuts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Webbs! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nuts misses with a hook
and Webbs counters with a low kick, right behind Nuts 's knee. Webbs lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nuts's sensitive parts. Webbs works Nuts's body with a nice hook. Webbs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nuts swings for the body but Webbs moves out of range.
Nuts throws a combination that misses and Webbs counters with a head kick that drops Nuts!
Nuts is rocked! Webbs trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Webbs throws a big right hand that misses. Webbs content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Nuts has momentary wrist control but Webbs slips an elbow through the middle. Webbs is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Webbs connects with a couple of short punches. My spies in Morbid Conditioning, Trans, Esc School $1000 inform me that Webbs has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
That's one minute gone in the round. Webbs postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Webbs working some strikes from top position. Webbs pushes down on Nuts's leg and manages to get into half guard. Nuts taking some punishment here, with Webbs in his half guard. Webbs lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Webbs stalling. Webbs is nestled in close to Nuts, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nuts has hold of Webbs's hands but Webbs slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Webbs lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Webbs looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Oh Nuts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Webbs working Nuts over with strikes. Nuts seems to have got his legs back now. Webbs is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Webbs working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Webbs. Nuts wants to get back to his feet. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Webbs lands strikes from half guard. Webbs lands strikes from half guard. Webbs keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Webbs landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Nuts on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Webbs lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Webbs working over Nuts with some ground and pound. Nuts looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Webbs there. Nuts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nuts is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Webbs scores with a couple of nice shots. Webbs looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nuts with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Webbs with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Webbs is nestled in close to Nuts, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nuts is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Webbs scores with a couple of nice shots. Webbs slips a nice elbow through Nuts's hands, connecting with Nuts's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliver Webbs dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Nuts swings and misses with a shot to the body and Webbs counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Nuts out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Webbs is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
