The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varce shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Varce finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Varce is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Varce passes the guard and advances to mount!
Jones is looking to improve his position but Varce isn't that keen on the idea.
Varce lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Jones has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
