Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Bolton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Solomon Bolton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Thomas! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas misses with the combination.
Bolton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Horrible takedown attempt by Thomas or perhaps it was just good defense by Bolton, which made it look bad. Some wild striking there from Thomas.
Bolton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thomas was covering up waiting for the punch and Bolton finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bolton gets to his feet - Thomas follows without any prompting. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bolton looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Thomas is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Thomas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bolton landing some decent shots from guard. Thomas throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bolton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Thomas, up you get! Bolton tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Thomas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bolton stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Thomas. Bolton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thomas.
Thomas throws a head kick that misses. Bolton was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Bolton lands a head kick. Thomas smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas tests Bolton's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bolton misses with a head kick.
Thomas scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Thomas swinging wildly here.
Thomas rushes Bolton and presses him up against the cage. Thomas wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bolton has picked Thomas up - he's going for a ride! Bolton dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thomas trying to control but Bolton postures up.
Bolton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bolton keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Thomas controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Thomas is trying to stand back up but Bolton is controlling him
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Thomas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bolton is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Solomon Bolton will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Thomas fails with a takedown attempt. Bolton jabs at Thomas's body. Bolton on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thomas. Thomas obviously looking to wear him down.
Thomas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bolton throws a counter high kick but Thomas was just alert enough to avoid it. Bolton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bolton fails with a takedown attempt. Thomas is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bolton tries to land a body kick and Thomas counters with a one-two to the body. Thomas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bolton moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Thomas throws a series of punches but Bolton avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bolton clinches. Thomas has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bolton is trying to keep an underhook but Thomas manages to get the takedown into half guard. Thomas stands up out of the half guard. Thomas fails with the takedown. Thomas throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Thomas connects with a looping right hand.
Thomas has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Thomas throws a combination. Bolton tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Bolton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mark Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thomas throws a right hand that Bolton ducks under and follows up with a left that Bolton also avoids with ease. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bolton tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as Bolton blocks the leg kick.
Bolton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Despite the aggression on Thomas's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Thomas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bolton's calf. Thomas lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Bolton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thomas's waist but Thomas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bolton off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Solomon Bolton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Thomas moves into range and clinches up with Bolton. Bolton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Thomas trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bolton's guard. Bolton trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Thomas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bolton manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thomas has Bolton in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bolton trying to control but Thomas is working from the bottom. Bolton throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bolton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Thomas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Thomas is wriggling around but Bolton manages to pass to half guard.
Bolton looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Thomas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Thomas throws a nice inside leg kick. Thomas works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Thomas throws a series of punches but Bolton moves out of range. Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Thomas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bolton. Bolton feinted with a counter takedown. Mark Thomas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Thomas avoids the body shot from Bolton.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bolton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Thomas throws a low kick but Bolton moves out of range easily. Thomas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bolton misses with a wild body shot. Thomas goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bolton is looking to counter with head kicks. A left lands for Thomas. Thomas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Bolton blocks a low kick nicely. Thomas swings for the body but Bolton moves out of range.
Bolton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Thomas cracks Bolton with a good jab. Thomas shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A low kick from Thomas is predictable there and Bolton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thomas lands a leg kick that knocks Bolton off balance momentarily. Some wild striking there from Thomas.
Thomas misses with a hook. Thomas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bolton was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. A shot to the liver by Thomas. Beautiful body shot. Bolton is looking to wear down Thomas with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Bolton shoots for a takedown but Thomas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Thomas drives through with a takedown into guard. Bolton wants to stand but Thomas is controlling the position. Thomas wants to stand but Bolton has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bolton, up you get! Thomas moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Thomas misses with a two punch combination.

Bolton gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Bolton gets to his feet - Thomas follows without any prompting. Thomas manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bolton on his heels. He'll look to pass Bolton's guard now, I'm sure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Bolton throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Thomas advances position into side control! Thomas decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bolton to his feet. A punch combination from Thomas misses. Bolton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Thomas to score an easy takedown into full guard. Thomas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bolton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bolton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Thomas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Thomas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
