Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yrjoe Velmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Easy Rider kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power sizes up Velmu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Max Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Power throws a counter combo.
Velmu tries to clinch but Power moves away
and Power counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Velmu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

You can see the frustration on Velmu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Power wants to lay and pray for a moment but Velmu keeps working.
Power swings around for an armbar but Velmu sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Power's guard.
Velmu tries to free his leg and advance position but Power is retaining full guard.

Power looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Velmu has picked Power up and slammed him! Power can't keep hold of the triangle and Velmu manages to pass to side control!
