Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lemuel Roach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Death Stroke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lemuel Roach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Death Stroke! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stroke gets tackled into the cage by Roach. Roach maintains the clinch. Roach manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Roach is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stroke is controlling him. Roach throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Roach wants to sweep but no luck. Roach will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stroke is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Roach is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Stroke preventing the sweep. Roach has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stroke wants to control from the top but Roach keeps moving. Stroke prevents Roach from getting back to his feet. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stroke wants to control from the top but Roach keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lemuel Roach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roach moves in looking to clinch but Stroke pushes him off. Stroke is looking for the big counter here. Roach shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stroke defends it nicely. Stroke unleashes a big counter combination but Roach bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roach closes the distance but Stroke moves to the side and Stroke counters with a stiff right hand. Stroke swats away the attempt to clinch by Roach. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Roach shoots and misses and Stroke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Roach looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Roach takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stroke tries to get to full guard but Roach has control of the leg. Stroke is looking to control Roach's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stroke avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roach is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stroke is just riding it out for now. Roach eventually gives up the hold. Stroke moves into full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Roach's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roach throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stroke works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stroke controls Roach momentarily but Roach frees himself. Stroke is looking to stand up but Roach isn't so interested in that idea. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roach accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Roach looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Roach throwing strikes from guard but Stroke blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roach closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stroke did well to prevent Roach getting side control. Stroke is defending against the submission attempts here by Roach.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Roach is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stroke is just riding it out for now. Roach eventually gives up the hold. Roach tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stroke sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roach somewhat. Stroke lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roach throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Stroke to counter with a crisp jab. Stroke slaps away a takedown attempt from Roach, before circling back to the center of the mat. Roach tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stroke swats him away and circles back towards the center. Stroke lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Roach tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stroke paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stroke steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Roach. Roach changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stroke tries to avoid it but Roach manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stroke to the ground. Stroke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lemuel Roach. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roach tries to clinch there but Stroke circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stroke stuffs the takedown attempt from Roach. Roach gets slowly back to his feet. Stroke looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. No luck for Roach with that takedown attempt. Roach drives through with a takedown into guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stroke is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roach tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Stroke counters with a nice uppercut. Roach looking to score a takedown here. Stroke is defending well but Roach drives through and ends up in Stroke's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stroke manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roach manages to get himself to full guard.

Stroke stands up out of the half guard. Death Stroke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roach shoots in but Stroke avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stroke throws out a counter right but Roach avoids it with no problem. Stroke stuffs the takedown attempt from Roach. Roach gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roach shoots and misses and Stroke counters with a nice leg kick. Roach shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stroke but Stroke pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stroke throws a counter combo. Roach shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stroke as he avoids it easily. Roach shoots for a takedown but Stroke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Roach sets himself, and Stroke steps forward looking for the clinch! Roach avoids it this time. Roach shoots for a takedown but Stroke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Stroke throws a counter combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stroke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roach. Roach misses with a takedown and Stroke holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Stroke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Death Stroke seems to be getting the better of the standup. Roach tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Stroke counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! Death Stroke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Roach has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
