Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Nieves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideki Tsukino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oliver Nieves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideki Tsukino! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nieves fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tsukino shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tsukino was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Tsukino tries to score with some ground and pound. Nieves controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Tsukino is looking to take a break and control but Nieves is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tsukino might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nieves haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nieves wants to get back to his feet but Tsukino drags him back down. Nieves really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tsukino trying to control the action but Nieves is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsukino throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Nieves struggling a bit here. Nieves is trying to buck Tsukino off. Tsukino decides to stand up, so the ref orders Nieves to his feet. Tsukino decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsukino is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Tsukino is keen to just control but Nieves is a slippery customer. Tsukino is looking to stall here but Nieves recovers full guard. Nieves can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tsukino controls the pace. Tsukino trying to control the position from guard on top but Nieves is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsukino throws a strike but Nieves rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Nieves scoring with some ground and pound. Tsukino is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Nieves missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Tsukino wants to control the position but Nieves says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Nieves throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Nieves throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nieves stops Tsukino from getting back to his feet.
Nieves thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tsukino's head. Tsukino is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nieves pulls his head out easily. Tsukino tries to get to full guard but Nieves has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nieves throwing shots but Tsukino is blocking nicely. Nieves trying to control the action but Tsukino is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Tsukino is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nieves's half guard. Nieves preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nieves trying to control but Tsukino postures up.

Nieves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tsukino's waist but Tsukino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nieves off to one side. Tsukino throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nieves was covering up waiting for the punch and Tsukino finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hideki Tsukino has got the better of the ground game so far. Nieves managing to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nieves is trying to control the position but Tsukino postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Tsukino closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tsukino is looking to take a break and control but Nieves is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nieves is looking to control Tsukino's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nieves avoid being mounted? Tsukino seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nieves does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nieves keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Tsukino controlling the action here.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Tsukino not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tsukino shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Nieves pulls Tsukino in to control the position. Tsukino postures up in Nieves's guard and throws a big left but Nieves blocks it. Tsukino wants to pass the guard but Nieves is keeping the position. Tsukino is looking to advance position but Nieves has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Nieves lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tsukino tries to lock up and control but Nieves gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Nieves lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Nieves content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hideki Tsukino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Tsukino closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nieves quickly recovers to half guard. Nieves is refusing to be controlled, as Tsukino sits in half guard. Tsukino wants to pass to mount but Nieves is defending the position. Tsukino wants to control but Nieves is keeping him busy. Tsukino has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tsukino throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tsukino is taking a breather. Nieves says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Nieves manages to escape and get back to his feet!

A chopping leg kick lands by Tsukino. Tsukino swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nieves tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tsukino sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nieves somewhat. Tsukino tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Nieves fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nieves clinches with his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nieves lands a nice elbow. Tsukino manages to break the clinch.
Tsukino misses with a left hand and Nieves makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Tsukino looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tsukino takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tsukino seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Nieves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tsukino defends it easily. Nieves being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsukino throwing strikes from guard but Nieves blocks nicely. Nieves can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tsukino controls the pace. Nieves is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tsukino trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tsukino clinches up against the cage. Nieves tries to circle away but Tsukino has him pinned against the cage. Nieves throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tsukino blocks it with crossed arms. Nieves misses with a hook from the clinch. A short uppercut from Nieves. Tsukino escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tsukino looking to score a takedown here. Nieves is defending well but Tsukino drives through and ends up in Nieves's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tsukino is looking to pass into half guard but Nieves pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Nieves is in guard. Tsukino preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Oliver Nieves has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hideki Tsukino is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Tsukino looking for a guillotine here but Nieves defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Hideki Tsukino comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tsukino winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
