Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kauko Tyrm� (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Jelsin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boris Jelsin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kauko Tyrm�! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boris Jelsin! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyrm� connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jelsin momentarily.
Tyrm� wants to clinch.
Jelsin clinches with his opponent.
Tyrm� tries to break the clinch but Jelsin is controlling the position. Jelsin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tyrm� is looking to break free of the clinch but Jelsin has double underhooks. Jelsin taking a breather.
Jelsin pulls guard successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jelsin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jelsin trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Jelsin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyrm�'s guard.
Tyrm� is trying to control the position from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jelsin sitting in guard here, content to control.
Jelsin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Tyrm� lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jelsin wants to clinch. Jelsin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tyrm� counters with a three punch combo that has Jelsin backing up. Jelsin nods at Tyrm� to acknowledge the strikes.
Tyrm� fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jelsin, pushing him back against the cage. Jelsin with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tyrm� can't break the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jelsin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jelsin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kauko Tyrm� has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Jelsin.
Tyrm� gets a clinch. Jelsin has Tyrm� pressed against the cage, preventing Tyrm� from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Tyrm� tries to break the clinch but Jelsin is controlling the position. Jelsin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tyrm� gets the underhooks and prevents it.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jelsin has Tyrm� pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tyrm� manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Tyrm� has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Jelsin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tyrm� gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jelsin wants a takedown but no success here.
Jelsin looks winded! Jelsin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tyrm� prevents it.
Tyrm� wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Tyrm� is trying to force a seperation but Jelsin has the dominant position. Tyrm� has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jelsin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Jelsin with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Tyrm� is trying to break the clinch but Jelsin has him pressed against the cage. Jelsin can't get the takedown.
Jelsin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jelsin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tyrm� counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tyrm� lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jelsin circles away quickly and effectively. Tyrm� scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tyrm� tries to clinch there but Jelsin circles away.
Jelsin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyrm� as he avoids it easily. A right-left combo lands from Tyrm�. Tyrm� lands with an uppercut that bounces Jelsin off the cage and back into range. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Kauko Tyrm� dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jelsin has a takedown stuffed. Jelsin throws a front kick aimed at Tyrm�'s knee but Tyrm� avoids it well. Jelsin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tyrm�.
Jelsin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyrm� as he avoids it easily. Jelsin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tyrm�. Jelsin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tyrm� counters with a nice uppercut.
Tyrm� rushes Jelsin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tyrm� can't break the clinch.

Jelsin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tyrm�'s efforts to push away. Jelsin keeps control of Tyrm� as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Tyrm� tries to break the clinch but Jelsin is controlling the position. Jelsin is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Tyrm� is trying to break the clinch but Jelsin is controlling him. Tyrm� is trying to break the clinch but Jelsin has him pressed against the cage. Jelsin tries to score a body lock takedown but Tyrm� shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Tyrm� can't break the clinch.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jelsin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tyrm� smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Tyrm� lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Jelsin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jelsin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tyrm� tries a head kick but it misses.
Tyrm� pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jelsin back to the cage. Tyrm� follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A nice combination there by Tyrm�.
Tyrm� is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jelsin with the counter takedown but Tyrm� avoids it easily. Jelsin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jelsin misses with a head kick.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jelsin tries to close the distance and clinch but Tyrm� swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jelsin pulls guard. Tyrm� has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jelsin is proving hard to escape from. Jelsin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tyrm� manages to get himself to full guard.

Jelsin gets control of Tyrm�'s arms and successfully pulls guard. Jelsin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Kauko Tyrm� dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kauko Tyrm� seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyrm� looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tyrm� lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jelsin at a distance.

Jelsin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tyrm� pulls him back up using the underhooks. Tyrm� tries to break free but Jelsin pushes him back against the cage.

Jelsin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tyrm� throws a series of strikes that have Jelsin backpedaling.
Jelsin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tyrm� throws a half hearted mid kick.

Jelsin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tyrm�'s waist but Tyrm� gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jelsin off to one side. Kauko Tyrm� is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Tyrm� clinches. Tyrm� has had enough of the clinch but Jelsin keeps him there for the moment.
Jelsin pulls guard effortlessly. Boris Jelsin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight! Kauko Tyrm� showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tyrm�, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
