Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sal Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocket Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atkinson dodges the punch combination from Power.
Power looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Atkinson is fending him off so far but Power persists. Nope, Atkinson circles away and we're back to standing.
Power shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Power stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Power wants it to stay on the feet.
Power unleashes a big counter combination but Atkinson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Rocket Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Atkinson darts in looking for a takedown but Power gets double underhooks and turns Atkinson into the cage.
Power misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Atkinson wants to stand and escape but instead Power has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Atkinson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Power's guard.

Atkinson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Atkinson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Power as he jumps to the side.
And Power tries to counter it with a takedown but Atkinson pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Atkinson is looking to counter the offense by Power and move into the clinch.

Power goes for a double leg but Atkinson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Atkinson continues to drive forward.
