Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Delanie Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas Fredholm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicolas Fredholm will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Delanie Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nicolas Fredholm!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Walker tries for a takedown but Fredholm sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've been hearing reports that Walker has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Walker looks to land a combination but Fredholm avoids it well.
Fredholm throws a counter combo.
Walker is looking to slow Fredholm down with leg kicks.
Fredholm misses with a two punch combination.
A little feinted left hand from Walker on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Walker looks for the body kick but Fredholm saw that one coming.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Walker is defended easily by Fredholm.

It looks like Delanie Walker has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walker throws a push kick but Fredholm slaps the foot to one side.
Fredholm throws out a counter right but Walker avoids it with no problem.

Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fredholm moves away.

Walker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fredholm to the mat! Fredholm manages to get full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Walker throws a front kick aimed at Fredholm's knee but Fredholm avoids it well.

Fredholm moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off.

Walker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Walker is working Fredholm over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker prevents Fredholm from getting back to his feet.

Walker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Fredholm preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Walker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fredholm avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Walker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fredholm works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Fredholm is looking to stand up but Walker isn't so interested in that idea.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Walker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fredholm throws a series of punches but Walker moves out of range.
And Walker counters with a quick kick to the body but Fredholm blocks it.
Fredholm ducks under a wild hook from Walker.
Walker fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Walker throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
An inside leg kick lands from Walker.
Fredholm misses with a two punch combination.
Walker throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Walker lands a nice looking body kick.
Walker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walker scoring well with a low kick there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Walker.
Fredholm is breathing heavily.
Fredholm has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Walker.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walker shoots for a takedown but Fredholm saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fredholm takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Walker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fredholm's sensitive parts.

You can see that Fredholm has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks
Fredholm throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease.

Walker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fredholm can do to turn this around?
Fredholm stuffs the takedown attempt from Walker. Walker gets slowly back to his feet.

Walker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fredholm napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Walker is putting a hurting on Fredholm here, landing some big shots from side control.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walker wants to control but Fredholm is keeping him busy.
Walker is really struggling to control Fredholm but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Walker lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fredholm down.
Walker tries to score with some ground and pound. Fredholm controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Walker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Walker cracks Fredholm with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Fredholm tries to escape but Walker is in control.
Walker lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Fredholm tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Walker lands a couple of good shots and Fredholm has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Fredholm is trapped and Walker is scoring with shots to the head and body.
