Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Taj Gibson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Logan McDaniel!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gibson avoids it really well and circles away.
McDaniel lands a nice looking body shot.
Logan McDaniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McDaniel misses with a head kick.
McDaniel works over Gibson's head and body with a nice combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McDaniel dives in and grabs Gibson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gibson pushes down on McDaniel's head and hops out.
McDaniel moves into range and clinches up with Gibson.
Gibson trying to control the position but instead, McDaniel has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gibson into the cage.
McDaniel pushes Gibson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

McDaniel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McDaniel has closed the distance and engaged Gibson in a clinch.

McDaniel is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gibson is defending well for now.
Oh Gibson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gibson tries to pull guard but McDaniel forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
McDaniel lands a shoulder strike.
McDaniel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gibson seems to have got his legs back now.
McDaniel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gibson's calf.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McDaniel misses with a body shot.
McDaniel throws a right and a left that both miss.
McDaniel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McDaniel connects with a body shot that sends Gibson's belly button to the back.
McDaniel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gibson's calf.
McDaniel throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
McDaniel fails with a takedown attempt.
Taj Gibson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Logan McDaniel.
McDaniel has Gibson up against the cage in a clinch.
McDaniel lands a body shot.
McDaniel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McDaniel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gibson tries to avoid it but McDaniel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gibson to the ground. Gibson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McDaniel moves into range and clinches up with Gibson.
Gibson is looking for a takedown.
McDaniel manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McDaniel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gibson.
McDaniel drives through and clinches with Gibson against the cage.

McDaniel shoots in looking for a takedown. Gibson tries to sprawl out of it but McDaniel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gibson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McDaniel rushes Gibson and presses him up against the cage.
McDaniel lands with a left to the head.
McDaniel manages to break the clinch.
Gibson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McDaniel.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gibson throws a right and a left that both miss.
McDaniel scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
McDaniel clinches up with Gibson and pushes him back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McDaniel gets through Gibson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Gibson is breathing heavily.
McDaniel tries to land a knee to the head but Gibson blocks with his arms.
Gibson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
McDaniel breaks from the clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Gibson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Gibson is looking for a counter combo.
McDaniel lands with a good body shot.
McDaniel steps into range and cracks Gibson with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Gibson flops backwards and McDaniel dives into his guard looking to finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Logan McDaniel dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gibson throws a big shot that misses.
Gibson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McDaniel.
Despite the aggression on McDaniel's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
McDaniel smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gibson misses with a two punch combination.
McDaniel was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
McDaniel connects with a body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gibson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McDaniel - the referee stops the clock and Gibson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McDaniel. Gibson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
McDaniel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McDaniel rushes Gibson with punches - Gibson moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gibson goes down! McDaniel follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Logan McDaniel!
A very excited looking Logan McDaniel made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
