Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Coleman Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junaid Mahmood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Coleman Skinner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Junaid Mahmood! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skinner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mahmood was covering up waiting for the punch and Skinner finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mahmood wants to stand but Skinner is controlling the position. Skinner preventing the sweep. Mahmood wants to stand but Skinner is controlling the position. Skinner slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mahmood is looking to sweep but instead, Skinner has passed into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skinner prevents Mahmood from improving his position. Skinner stands up out of the half guard. Mahmood throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Skinner was covering up waiting for the punch and Mahmood finishes the takedown easily into guard. Skinner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mahmood is one step ahead there. Skinner really is a fat lump. Mahmood wants to stand but Skinner is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mahmood trying to control the position from guard on top but Skinner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mahmood controls from within his opponent's guard. Skinner wants to stand but Mahmood is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mahmood looking to sit in guard and control but Skinner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mahmood isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Skinner stacks Mahmood on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Skinner! Mahmood is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mahmood manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Skinner looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mahmood stalling away here and it's allowed Skinner to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Skinner is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Skinner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mahmood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mahmood manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Coleman Skinner dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mahmood. Skinner drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mahmood sprawls and moves away. Junaid Mahmood is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Skinner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mahmood looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mahmood tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Skinner easily slips into full mount! Skinner is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mahmood can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Mahmood is trying to escape the mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mahmood is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skinner stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Mahmood rushes Skinner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Skinner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mahmood looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Skinner looking for submissions off his back. Mahmood is breathing heavily. Skinner trying to control but Mahmood postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mahmood trying to control from Skinner's half guard. Skinner has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Mahmood won't allow Skinner to sweep him here. Skinner throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mahmood has gone for a leg lock! Skinner slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mahmood's guard.
Coleman Skinner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mahmood trying to keep a closed guard but Skinner is proving a slippery customer.
Skinner stays in close to Mahmood's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Skinner gets to his feet - Mahmood follows without any prompting. Mahmood shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Skinner is trying to defend but Mahmood finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Skinner wants to control but Mahmood is keeping busy and won't allow it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Skinner throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Skinner has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Mahmood. Oh but Skinner has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Mahmood goes limp - he's gone! Skinner jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Coleman Skinner!
