Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Ellis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mark Munoz!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Munoz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Munoz looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Munoz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ellis circles away.
Ellis connects with a single shot there.

Munoz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ellis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Munoz has managed to get both his arms back between Ellis's legs - danger averted.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ellis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
