Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 38 - 1, fighting out of London, Billy Riley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Connor Davis!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Riley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Riley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Riley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Davis avoids it really well and circles away.
Davis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Davis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Riley was well out of range. Poor timing from Davis.
Davis misses with a two punch combination.
Davis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Riley on the side of the head.
Riley moves into range and clinches up with Davis.
Riley looking for a takedown.
Riley tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Riley is struggling to control the position.
Davis is trying to push Riley away but Riley has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davis is pressed up against the cage. Riley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Davis down to the mat. Davis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Riley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Riley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Riley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Riley wants a takedown but no success here.
Riley tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Riley is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Davis has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Riley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Davis fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Davis leaves Riley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Riley fails with the takedown.
Davis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Riley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davis swivels and escapes.

Billy Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Riley.
Riley shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Davis digs a good hook to Riley's body.
Davis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Davis wants it to stay on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis lands a nice shot that snaps Riley's head back.
Davis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Riley.
Riley avoids the body shot from Davis.
Davis connects with a body shot.
Davis stalks Riley and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Riley's face. Riley staggers backwards, shaken.
Davis swings for the body but Riley moves out of range.
Davis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Davis slaps away a takedown attempt from Riley, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Davis shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Riley eats them both and turns towards Davis to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Riley darts in and clinches Davis up against the cage.
Davis wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Riley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Riley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Riley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Davis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davis can do anything to dispel that myth.
Riley is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Davis is trying to escape and Riley transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Davis is forced to tap! Nice work there by Riley! Very nice indeed!
