The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Geerts will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Baltik wants to counter with a clinch but Geerts pushes him away.
Geert Geerts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Geerts misses the jab.
Geerts bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Geerts looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
A lull in the action here as Geerts stalls from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baltik tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Geerts wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Geerts trying to control the action but Baltik is working from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Geerts advances nicely into full mount.
Geerts moves to back control.
Baltik tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Geerts has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Baltik is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
