Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, I Know Wrestling! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yas Uru! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrestling shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Uru manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Wrestling might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wrestling throwing strikes but missing. Uru wants to get back to his feet but Wrestling is in a dominant position and won't allow it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wrestling accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wrestling throws a big right hand that misses. Wrestling stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uru gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wrestling working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrestling with a flurry of punches that miss. Wrestling trying to control the position from guard on top but Uru is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Uru wants to stand up but Wrestling is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wrestling throws a strike but Uru rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wrestling is adopting a defensive guard. Wrestling wants to sweep here but Uru controlling him for the moment. Uru decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wrestling, up you get! The fighters circling - Wrestling throws out the jab but it was never going to land. I Know Wrestling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wrestling tries for a takedown but Uru sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A countering left hand to the body from Uru misses. Uru digs a good body shot into Wrestling's ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrestling looks to score with a jab to the body but Uru is just out of range. Wrestling closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wrestling working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Uru is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Wrestling throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Uru avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Wrestling. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Wrestling wants to control but Uru is keeping him busy. Wrestling is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Uru's shoulder. That is not cool. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wrestling creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Uru sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Wrestling scores with punches from side control. Uru has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Check out the look on Wrestling's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Wrestling wants to take a breather but Uru manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Wrestling. Wrestling in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wrestling landing with the ground and pound. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. and Uru counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wrestling thinking. Wrestling swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Uru is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wrestling with a body shot. Wrestling fails with a takedown attempt. Wrestling throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Uru stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Uru wants it to stay on the feet. A nice side step and Uru releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Uru keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wrestling. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to I Know Wrestling. I think Wrestling has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

I Know Wrestling decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
