Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Wuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Wuzz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rocco Roman! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wuzz closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Roman's guard. Wuzz throws a big right hand that misses. Wuzz throws a big right hand that misses. Roman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wuzz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wuzz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wuzz won't allow Roman to sweep him here. Wuzz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wuzz cracks Roman with a solid left hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wuzz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roman swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roman looking for a guillotine here but Wuzz defends easily.
Roman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wuzz's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wuzz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Roman is one step ahead there. Roman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Wuzz working for a triangle but Roman defends it easily.

Roman stopping the sweep attempt from Wuzz. Wuzz seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Roman postures up in Wuzz's guard and throws a big left but Wuzz blocks it. Roman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Roman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Wuzz keeping moving, preventing Roman from controlling successfully. Wuzz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Roman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wuzz. Wuzz is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Roman's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Roman prevents Wuzz from improving his position. Wuzz works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roman postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Wuzz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Roman throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wuzz trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Wuzz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Roman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wuzz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Roman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wuzz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roman has managed to get both his arms back between Wuzz's legs - danger averted. Wuzz can't keep his opponent in guard - Roman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wuzz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Roman looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that David Wuzz will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wuzz tries to clinch but Roman is having none of it. A nice side step and Roman releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Wuzz looking to score a takedown here. Roman is defending well but Wuzz drives through and ends up in Roman's guard. Wuzz chips away with some ground and pound. Wuzz looking to pass the guard. Wuzz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wuzz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wuzz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wuzz, into his guard.

Wuzz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Roman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Wuzz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wuzz looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Roman has picked Wuzz up and slammed him! Wuzz can't keep hold of the triangle and Roman manages to pass to side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Roman is trying to get an arm triangle but Wuzz is defending well. Roman works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Wuzz is looking for a sweep. Roman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Roman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Roman tries for a kimura but Wuzz is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wuzz gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Wuzz is trying to stand back up but Roman is controlling him

A close second round but Rocco Roman will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
The fighters circle momentarily. Wuzz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Wuzz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Roman quickly recovers to half guard. Roman gets back to full guard.
Wuzz passes Roman's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Roman tries to roll over but Wuzz keeps him under control. Wuzz is working for a kimura but Roman is defending it quite comfortably.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roman's guard. Wuzz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Roman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
