Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Shultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Shultz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie Shultz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Dick!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shultz throws a sloppy head kick

and Dick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dick with a flurry of punches that miss.
Shultz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dick is working Shultz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dick passes Shultz's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Shultz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dick connects with a nice short shot to Shultz's temple.

Dick takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Shultz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Shultz controlling the position well.
Dick passes to side control.
You can see the frustration on Shultz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Shultz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dick wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dick in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Shultz looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Dick turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
