Bishop Jr's entrance music is The Desolation of Smaug. A fine choice. Da Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Flaming Lips - Race for the Prize kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sonny Bishop Jr had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop Jr shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Bishop Jr is trying to control the action in half guard but Da Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Da Silva is looking to escape.
Bishop Jr wants to control but Da Silva is keeping him busy.

Da Silva lands a big head kick that sends Bishop Jr tumbling to the mat! Da Silva takes a step backwards and waves Bishop Jr back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Da Silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Da Silva connects with a body shot that sends Bishop Jr's belly button to the back.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Da Silva, right into the meat.
Da Silva moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Da Silva plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Bishop Jr swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Bishop Jr face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

A relieved looking David Da Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Sonny Bishop Jr was interviewed post fight and said 'The better man won tonight'.
