Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Choice Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Batu Canario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by save me by Burn Halo. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canario closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gracie circles away.
Canario shoots for a takedown but Gracie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Canario fails to land the takedown.
Choice Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Batu Canario.
Gracie with a poor takedown
and Canario counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.
Canario shoots in and bounces Gracie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Canario has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from.

Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Canario controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Canario misses with a takedown
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control.
Canario looks gassed!
Gracie moves into full mount!
Gracie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Canario is surviving well by controlling Gracie's body position as best he can.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Canario tries to control the position but Gracie now has his back.

Gracie controlling well, preventing Canario from escaping the position.
Canario holding both Gracie 's hands and preventing any damage.
Canario just trying to survive but Gracie is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Gracie misses with punches from the back.
Canario manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gracie's guard. Nice work there by Canario.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Choice Gracie will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Canario counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now.
Gracie seems keen to control Canario's posture.
Canario trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Canario is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Canario is breathing heavily.
Gracie controls Canario momentarily but Canario frees himself.

Gracie is pulling down on Canario's head. It's preventing any offense from Canario, at least for the moment.
Canario pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now.
Gracie working a defensive guard but Canario passes into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Canario frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gracie regains half guard.
Canario is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well.

Gracie has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Canario doesn't defend quickly enough and Gracie has managed to lock this one up! Can Canario escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gracie on a fantastic submission victory.
