Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ground Guru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ground Guru!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guru ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jerry Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guru moves away from the strike by Anderson.
Anderson leaves Guru with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Guru shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Anderson counters with a nice uppercut.
Anderson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Anderson has managed to clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Anderson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Guru's brow.

It looks like Ground Guru has been cut.
Anderson trying to stall but Guru improves his position.
Guru is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Anderson is defending well.

Anderson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Guru fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Guru jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anderson walks away with a smile on his face. Guru gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Guru shoots for a takedown but Anderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Guru gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Guru tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Anderson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Guru with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Anderson to score with a decent uppercut.
Anderson connects with a right hand. Guru shakes it off.
Anderson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Anderson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Anderson.
Anderson stuffs the takedown attempt from Guru. Guru gets slowly back to his feet.
Anderson seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Guru has Anderson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Anderson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Guru drops down looking for an ankle pick but Anderson pulls his leg out and moves away.

Anderson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Guru in his tracks.
Guru dodges the punch combination from Anderson.
Guru takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Anderson closes the distance and clinches.
Guru has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anderson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Anderson - that landed with a thud.
Guru is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Anderson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Guru tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Anderson smiles and moves away.
Guru bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Anderson sizes up Guru with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Guru utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Guru escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Anderson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Guru is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Anderson defends well.

Anderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guru on the ground.

Guru has his foot on Anderson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderson works his way back into a safe position though.
Guru not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Guru has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Anderson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Guru has tightened it up now! Anderson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ground Guru decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
