Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jaime Lannister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polo has chosen On The Floor as his entrance music. The key to victory for Jaime Lannister has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister blocks a head kick by Polo.
Lannister throwing a counter right hand but Polo manages to avoid it.
Lannister tries to clinch up but Polo circles away and keeps his distance.
Polo dodges the punch combination from Lannister.

Polo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Polo stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Lannister as Polo tries to tie him up.
Lannister is pushing Polo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Horrible takedown attempt by Polo or perhaps it was just good defense by Lannister, which made it look bad.
Lannister lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Polo at a distance.

Polo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Polo is looking to take this one to the mat.
Lannister effectively controlling the action here.
Polo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lannister pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lannister is pushing Polo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lannister just misses with a elbow thrown towards Polo's brow.
Polo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lannister to keep the fight standing.

Polo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lannister can't fight it off and eventually Polo manages to take the fight to the floor. Lannister looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lannister not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Polo trying to control but Lannister is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Polo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lannister dives on top into guard.

Polo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Jaime Lannister will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Marco Polo's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Polo tries to clinch up.
A telegraphed right hand from Lannister misses the target.
Lannister throws a series of punches but Polo moves out of range.
Lannister throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lannister shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Lannister scores with a hook.

Polo slips a jab from Lannister.

Polo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Polo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lannister defend it? Polo steps over the head and cranks it - Lannister is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Polo!
