The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm misses with the combination.
Storm bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pichushkin's head.


It looks like Alexander Pichushkin has been cut.
Storm throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

As Storm looks to move away, Pichushkin throws a big counter combo bu Storm just gets out of the way.
Storm looks to throw the jab but Pichushkin is out of range.
Storm fails to land with a series of punches.
Storm throws a lazy uppercut
and Pichushkin counters with a series of strikes. Storm will be more careful next time no doubt.
Storm takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Pichushkin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Storm.
Storm throws the left hand but Pichushkin avoids the punch easily.
Storm throws a looping overhand right but Pichushkin ducks down to avoid it.
Storm misses with a hook. Pichushkin ducked under it nicely.
And Pichushkin counters with a quick kick to the body but Storm blocks it.

Pichushkin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Storm throws out the jab.
Pichushkin fires out a quick counter leg kick but Storm just manages to avoid it.

Storm lands a nice shot to the body.
Fred Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Storm misses with an uppercut. Pichushkin saw that one coming.

and Pichushkin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pichushkin looks to land a left hand but Storm moved out of range nicely.

As Storm looks to move away, Pichushkin throws a big counter combo bu Storm just gets out of the way.

and Pichushkin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Storm rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pichushkin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Fred Storm has been cut.
The fighters circling - Storm throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pichushkin slips a jab from Storm.
Storm misses with a hook
and Pichushkin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pichushkin is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Storm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Storm misses with a looping left.
Storm swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Storm falls off balance throwing a combination

and Pichushkin counters with a crisp one two that drops Storm! Pichushkin thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Storm to his feet! Storm is in big trouble!

and Pichushkin counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Storm badly! Pichushkin follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Storm out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Pichushkin finished him against the cage.
